Sally: Uhgh, Wh-Where am I?

 

Figure: It's normal to be a little disoriented when you travel between realities, you’re in a dream state to

make the change more comforting, Sally.

 

Sally: Oh dude! I've never realized I’m dreaming while it’s happening. Is this one of those lucid dreams?! Can I fly?

 

Figure: That's because this is no ordinary dream Sally, it is an illusion we created to ease you into your true reality. Like a bridge between worlds, I have been sent here by a much greater power than you could ever imagine, to reveal the great truth about-- you aren't listening are you Sally?

 

Sally: Sorry, hold on just a sec. I'm trying to fly.

 

Figure: You can't fly Sally. You can’t control this realm. You'll never be able to fly.

 

Sally: But I thought this was my dream?

 

Figure: No. Jeez if you would listen for one minute. This isn’t your dream or even a dream .But rather another field of consciousness disguised as a dream so that we can communicate freely, without destroying your perception of reality. Now if you would Just drop the flying and listen to me. I have something of grave importance to tell you!

Sally: Mhm ok pal, sure.

Figure:  Sally, I am telling the truth. You have to listen to me. We don't have much time.

​

Sally: If you know so much about this alternate state of reality or whatever, just give us more time.

​

Figure: It doesn't work like that Sally, no one has control over this world. Now listen. Please. I have show you the truth,

 

Sally: The truth about what?

Figure: Everything. Who you are. Where you came from. How every step you take is a lie.

​

Sally: Oof. I must have fallen asleep watching some weird sci-fi show again. 

 

Figure: Sally this is real. I need you to focus.

 

Sally: No, it’s a dream man, you said it yourself. Dreams aren’t real” Figure: “Please! I need you to focus on what I am saying.

 

Sally: No I need you to focus, focus on getting the fuck out of my face.

Figure: Sally stop walking away. You need to know what I have to tell you. It isn't real. None of it.

 

Sally: Buddy, look at me. You are the one that's not real. I created you, when I fell asleep, you’re just a

passenger in my dream pal.

Figure: This is not a dream Sally! This is a virtual plane I sought out so we could communicate without them knowing. You’re not in control here. In fact, you have never been in control of your own life. They have been prompting your every step, Sally! -- Sally? Where are you going?

Sally: up that mountain. I’m going to jump off.

Figure: Why -- ugh-- why would you ever do that Sally?

Sally: I figure either I’ll fly or I'll wake up screaming. Either way I am out of here and away from you.

Figure: Can't you see what I'm trying to tell you is more important. This--Right here--right now-- this is real- this is the only thing that has ever been real. You can’t leave Sally! Not until you know the truth. They are in your mind, telling you to jump off the cliff. Don’t you see? They are trying to get you to leave, trying to stop you from knowing who you really are.

Sally: I don’t care who you are, so I definitely don’t care who you think they are. No one’s controlling me pal, just an insane burst of adrenaline knowing nothing I do matters, and I might be on my way to flying for the first time.

Figure: Sally listen! If you walk away I won't ever be able to return us to this realm again. This is your one chance. This is your destiny. Please, just take the chance I am telling the truth and hear me out!

Sally: Yeah, no thanks. You sound a little too crazy even for a dream. I’m going to take my chances with this cliff.

​

Figure: Sally there is so much more to this universe than you could imagine. Everything you know is a lie and the truth is coming. The others are growing stronger. You alone hold the key to--SALLY NO!...fuck....(Figure pulls out communication device) She jumped Carl, is she dead?

Carl: Yep, she’s dead alright, and with that, mankind is doomed. Nice going Bill.

Bill (figure) : Shit, this is the third species I’ve lost this week. Do you think they will fire me Carl?

Carl: “ I mean we haven’t lost anyone too serious yet. I’m not sure anyone cares if the humans are annihilated by the others, it’s not like they had much time or resources left regardless. You lose the Valcrons, on the other hand, we are definitely screwed.
